When can I expect a return on my investment?

Your return depends on how your store performs, including sales and how you manage expenses. Most franchisees see a return within 2.5 to 3 years.

Who chooses the store location?

You can propose a location, and our Network Development Team will evaluate if it’s a good fit. We can also suggest available locations for you.

Is there a standard store design?

Yes. Generika provides a standard store design and layout to ensure a consistent customer experience across all branches.

What are the space requirements?

We recommend a location that is:
• In a high foot traffic area with good visibility
• Located on the ground floor
• Near landmarks, terminals, or hospitals
• 15–25 sqm with at least 3 meters frontage
• Not prone to flooding or security risks
• Ideally with rent below ₱20,000

Who hires the store staff?

The franchisee is responsible for hiring the store frontliners. One Generika Drugstore requires one (1) Pharmacist and three (3) Pharmacy Assistants.

Is training provided?

Yes. A comprehensive training program is provided for franchisees and their store teams.

Who supplies the medicines?

Generika will source and supply all products for your store.

What is the franchise term?

The franchise agreement is valid for 5 years and can be renewed for another 5 years, subject to approval.

How long does it take to open a store?

Once all requirements are completed, you can expect your store to open within 87 days.

What is the renewal fee?

The renewal fee shall be charged against the FRANCHISEE based on thirty percent (30%) of current initial franchising fee.

Do my sales contribute to a marketing fund?

Yes, it is 1% - 1.5% of the Monthly Generic Medicine Sales.

Does Generika Drugstore charge royalty fees?

No, we do not charge any royalty fees
