Generika Drugstore and Iloilo City LGU Join Hands to Provide Essential Healthcare Through Ginhawang Barangayan

After sending off her husband to work, twenty-nine-year-old Analita Bucon brought her children to Ginhawang Barangayan to take advantage of Libreng Konsulta, free vitamins, and medicines to help maintain her family’s health. As a mother, her top priority is the well-being of her children. “Pumunta ako dito sa Ginhawang Barangayan para makapagpa-check-up ako at ang kundisyon ng mga anak ko, lalo’t sinisipon sila,” she shared.

Instead of seeking additional income, Analita chose to stay home to care for and supervise her children as they grow up. Her husband, a construction worker, earns just enough to cover their daily needs. To deliver the best healthcare services through Ginhawang Barangayan, Generika Drugstore partnered with the City Government of Iloilo, under the leadership of Mayor Jerry Treñas, represented by his executive assistant Inday Raisa Treñas on September 5, 2024. The event served nearly 400 residents of Barangay San Rafael and its neighboring communities.
